    The 3D Secure Security Standard

Transactions are carried out between you the “customer” and your “bank” and then between your “bank” and us “Atelcom”.

Online payment by bank card: the new "3D Secure" safety standard The two bank card networks, Visa and MasterCard/Maestro, have developed a standard for their card holders: the 3D Secure Standard. .

3D Secure: what is it? It is an international solution that makes card payments on the Internet secure by authentication of the buyer on payment. This solution concerns CB, MasterCard, Maestro, and Visa cards.

3D Secure: why? Electronic commerce on the Internet is developing rapidly and payment security must be reinforced in order to prevent possible frauds and to raise the confidence in card payment to an even higher level. Banks have adopted and implemented an Internet payment security solution based on the "3D Secure" protocol developed by Visa (Verified by Visa) and MasterCard (MasterCard SecureCode).

With this solution, the customer's bank authenticates the holder when he pays on a commercial website.

What types of cards are accepted in 3D Secure? CB, MasterCard, Maestro and Visa payment cards for private or professional use can be used with 3D Secure.

3D Secure: how does it work?

3D Secure: how are customers authenticated? The method of customer authentication is chosen by the customer’s bank.

Your bank can also send you a security code by e-mail or text message. Without this code, it is impossible to finalise online payment.
For more information, please consult your bank.
